大学院後期も７週目。
そろそろ終盤に差し掛かって来ました。
この学期ですべて単位を満たして、Masterをいただきたいところです。
メルボルンの紹介にあたり。
どなたかのお役に立てれば幸いです。
さて、RMIT大学の翻訳通訳修士号コースの内容が、いつの間にか大幅に変更されていることに気づきました。
オーストラリアの大学は１学期あたり４科目（フルタイム）が基本。
細かい科目がたくさん受講できる日本とはかなり違います。
１科目の重みが大きすぎる。

サブタイトリングが勉強できたテクノロジー科目が必修から外れ、翻訳または通訳が必須に。
警察通訳、法廷通訳、コミュニティ医療通訳、専門医療通訳などの選択科目ができている（まだ案の段階）！
そして私が受けたいと思っていた教授法が消えた。。。（今までずっと「今期は開講せず」で受講できないまま。実は教える先生がいないということか。）
メディア・コミュニケーション研究（翻訳がらみ）に実は興味が出てきていて、マスターをもらってももう少し大学に残るか検討中。
オーストラリアにいくつか翻訳通訳が勉強できる修士号コースがありますが、コミュニティ実務メインならRMITをおすすめしたいです。
ちなみに12月に、コミュニティ翻訳の第二回国際学会がRMITで開かれます〜
